  1. Hi guys,

I've enjoyed reading through your blog as we are also building the Riverton 30. I was just wondering what colour is that laminate flooring? I love it. And what's the main difference between the Cat 1 and Cat 2 laminate flooring? How much did they charge you for the Cat 2 laminate? Did you go for laminate down the hallway also, or just in lieu of the standard tiled areas? And the bricks you chose, what colour are they? What category are they? How much you charged for the off-white mortar? Sorry about all the questions... just curious to know! And last of all, when did you do your colour selection/Tender? Was it long ago? I'm just asking so that I can work out how close your pricing will be to the current pricing, as I'm sure there are constant price increases!

  2. Sorry I just saw your comment. Glad you enjoyed looking at it. The flooring is Quickstep Eligna Natural Vintage Oak I think it is called - it was around $1800 more but that was just in place of tiles not down the hallway. The bricks are called LaMesa think they are category 3A and weren around $2000 more plus the off white mortar was aroud $700. Hope this helps. We did our tender back in Jan so I am sure prices have gone up since then. Where are you building? Good luck!
